On 27 September 2017 the international travelling exhibition Ocean Plastics Lab was launched with an opening ceremony on Piazza Solferino in Turin, Italy, where the Lab opened its doors to the public until 7 October. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by the German Research Minister Johanna Wanka, the EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas and the President of the Regional Council of Piedmont Mauro Laus.
